First Launch of LAMDIK by Accreditation Council of BAN-PT and Directorate General of Higher Education, Friday, 31 December 2021

LAMDIK (Educational LAM) will be officially launched by Accreditation Council of BAN-PT on Friday, December 31, 2021. This event is held online via Zoom and YouTube Live Streaming with the following link: https://youtu.be/6P6FyQlReeM.

After its launching onwards, LAMDIK is ready to operate with transition period applied for three months, until March 30. Starting April 1, 2022 LAMDIK will begin accepting proposals for new accreditation and re-accreditation.

The Amount of Accreditation and Appeal Fees at LAMDIK

Based on the Letter of the Indonesian Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Number 90845/MPK.A/AG.01.00/2021 dated 20 December 2021 concerning the Approval of the Amount of Study Program Accreditation Unit Fees, the amount of accreditation and appeal fees at LAMDIK is as follows:

  1. IDR 52,000,000 for Study Program Accreditation Fee
  2. IDR 29,700,000 for Appeal Fee

With regard to the legalization of Accreditation Instruments for Study Programs (IAPS) for Undergraduate Programs within education scope through the Regulation of BAN-PT No. 10 of 2021 and in the context of implementing the Government Assistance Grant Program for Capacity Building of Independent Accreditation Agency for Education (LAMDIK), we would like to ask the university leaders to assign three representatives from university leadership/quality assurance elements, faculties, and study programs to take part in Accreditation Socialization at LAMDIK online via Zoom Meeting which will be held on:

FGD of the Preparation for LAMDIK's IAPS for Doctoral Programs in UMS

An FGD of the IAPS development for Doctoral Programs has been hosted on the campus of Surakarta Muhammadiyah University (UMS), precisely on the 7th floor of the main building Siti Walidah. This event lasted for three days from 5 to 7 November 2021. It aimed to determine the indicators and descriptors of IAPS for Doctoral Programs.

The participants were lecturers from various universities, namely: Muchlas Samani, Ekohariadi, Suryanti (UNESA), Joko Nurkamto, Mardiyana (UNS), Budi Murtiyasa, Bambang Sumardjoko (UMS), Mudi, Agus Sutomo (UPGRIS), Samsul Hadi (UIN Malang), and Sholeh Hidayat (UNTIRTA).

The agenda included: (1) Opening, (2) Determination of Doctoral IAPS Indicators and Descriptors, (3) Development of Doctoral IAPS Indicators and Descriptors, (4) Progress Report and Review, (5) Preparation of Doctoral IAPS Draft and Review, and (6) Closing and follow-up.

This development of Doctoral IAPS is for complements the Undergraduate ones which have been legalized by BAN-PT through the Regulation of BAN-PT Number 10 of 2021. The latter is used as the reference for the preparation of Doctoral IAPS. The output of this activity is the draft of indicators and descriptors of it. To achieve this output, the participants were grouped into small groups. Each group scrutinized the Undergraduate IAPS to determine the doctoral one. The determined indicators and descriptors were then discussed to obtain inputs.

This FGD went well as expected. The output is the finished form of the draft of Doctoral IAPS and will become a topic of discussion in the next FGD.

UMS Hosted FGD of LAMDIK's IAPS Development for Master Programs

LAMDIK’s Accreditation Instruments of Study Programs (IAPS) for Undergraduate Programs have been legalized by BAN-PT through the Regulation of BAN-PT Number 10 of 2021. It is then developed for Master and Doctoral programs. In addition, LAMDIK is also developing it for Teacher Professional Education (PPG). FGD was then arranged to determine the instruments and descriptors for Master programs that took place at Surakarta Muhammadiyah University (UMS).

This FGD was held on the 6th floor of the main building Siti Walidah Surakarta Muhammadiyah University. This agenda was opened by the chairperson of LAMDIK, Prof. Dr. Muchlas Samani, and the Vice Chancellor I for Academic, Research, Service, Publication and IPR of UMS, Prof. Dr. Harun Joko Prayitno, M.Hum and lasted for three days from 5 to 7 November 2021.

For the opening, Prof. Dr. Muchlas Samani delivered a statement that LAMDIK along with the other LAMs were still waiting for the legalization by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. One point which has not been agreed was the accreditation fee. In addition, he also remarked that LAMDIK is ours together.

The participants consisted of lecturers from various universities in Indonesia, namely: Joko Nurkamto, Ngadiso (UNS), Harun Joko Prayitno, Anam Sutopo (UMS), Sofi Hartati, Erry Utomo, Ivan Hanafi (UNJ), Agus Sutono (UPGRIS), Akhmad Arifi (UIN Yogyakarta), Dase Erwin Juansah (Untirta), Ekohariadi (Unesa), Tommy Yuniawan (Unnes), and Swasono Rahardjo (UM). The outputs of this event were that the indicators and IAPS descriptors for Master programs refer to IAPS for Undergraduate programs which have been legalized by BAN-PT.

This FGD began with a discussion of IAPS for an undergraduate program and continued with group formation. Each group determined the instruments and descriptors for IAPS for the master program. The results were then collected and re-discussed together. The final ones were written in the form of activity outputs and will be discussed again in the next FGD.

This agenda went well with full support from UMS that has provided very satisfying facilities, infrastructures, and consumption. We would like to thank UMS for facilitating this event so that it could be implemented as expected.

FGD of LAMDIK Supplementary Documents' Indicators and Descriptors

In order to improve the quality of the accreditation process in LAMDIK and characterize the study programs, Supplements of IAPS are therefore developed. It has become an inseparable part of Accreditation Instruments of Study Programs.

To develop IAPS documents, LAMDIK held an FGD (Forum Group Discussion) themed: “Indicators Determination and Instrument Descriptors for IAPS Supplement” on 1-3 November 2021 located on the 10th floor of Rectorate Office, Lidah Wetan Campus of the State University of Surabaya.

The participants consisted of LAMDIK assessors and academicians from various universities, namely: Joko Nurkamto (UNS), Ekohariadi (Unesa), Harun Joko Prayitno (UMS), Lukman Najamuddin (UNTAD), Sofi Hartati (UNJ), Agus Taufiq (UPI), Rochmadi (UNS), Akhmad Rifai (UIN Yogyakarta), Sholeh Hidayat (Untirta), Ratnaningsih Eko Sardjono (UPI), Nasution, Wahono Widodo, Meini Sondang (Unesa), and Budi Murtiyasa (UMS). They represented the clusters of supplements developed, which are Mathematics and Science, Vocation, Arts, Sport Science, Education, Social Science, Language, Economics, and Religion.

This FGD went well and the discussion ran lively. On the first day, the participants managed to formulate the templates, indicators, and supplement descriptors in accordance with each cluster. On the second to the third day, each of them presented and held discussions so that they were able to complete instrument drafts which have been developed by each cluster representative. The output target was that the supplement template draft, indicator, and IAPS supplement descriptors have been achieved and should be discussed more thoroughly in the next FGD planned for the next two weeks.

Accreditation Instruments of LAMDIK for Undergraduate Programs: Regulation of BAN-PT Number 11 of 2021

In accordance with the Letter of Accreditation Council of BAN-PT Number 170/BAN-PT/MA/Pen/PerBAN/2021 dated 3 September 2021, it has been determined the Regulation of BAN-PT Number 10 of 2021 concerning the Accreditation Instruments of Study Program for Undergraduate Programs in Education Scope.

LAMDIK’s Accreditation Instruments, as the attachment of BAN-PT Regulation Number 10 of 2021, consist of five books namely:

141 Scopes of Study Programs Accredited by LAMDIK: Decree of Regulation of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology Number 186/M/2021

In accordance with the Decree of the Indonesian Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology No. 186/M/2021 concerning the Study Programs Accredited by the Independent Accreditation Agency, there are 141 study programs for Undergraduate, Master, and Doctoral programs accredited by Educational LAM (LAMDIK).

LAMDIK Instrument Team for Finalizing Book 1, Book 2, and Book 3 of LAMDIK Instruments

Surakarta, 18 November 2020

The Regulation of BAN-PT No. 9 of 2020 has determined the Migration Policy of Study Program Accreditation from the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT) to the Independent Accreditation Agencies (LAM) including LAMDIK. It is in line with the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture No. 5 of 2020 article 4 paragraph 2 concerning Accreditation for Study Programs. Its application refers to Article 8 paragraph (1) regarding the Period of Study Program Accreditation conducted and determined by LAM and paragraph (2) concerning the accreditation period determined by LAM, as referred to in paragraph (1), ends, re-accreditation must be carried out by LAM.

LAMDIK instruments were prepared by referring to the Regulation of BAN-PT Number 2 of 2017 concerning the National Accreditation Standards of Higher Education that the instrument consists of at least 9 standards. They were downgraded to 9 instrument criteria of LAMDIK, each of which is developed based on the inputs, management, process, outputs, and outcome-based education.

The preparation and discussion of it were carried out intensively and continuously with guidance from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Directorate of Institutions, BAN-PT, and coordinated with the communication forum of LAM which had been formed and approved by the ministry.

The discussion of finalization in this period was held in the Faculty of Teaching and Education, Surakarta Muhammadiyah University (FKIP UMS) on 17-18 November 2020. It was focused on Book I of Instrument, Book II of Guidelines, Book III of Scoring/Assessment, and SIMAK LAMDIK (Information System of LAMDIK Accreditation Management), as well as SIAP LAMDIK (Information System of LAMDIK Mailing Administration).

The main characteristics of this instrument are on educational perspectives, namely from the importance of inputting the passion of the applicants during selection, micro-learning aspects, school field orientation, development of learning tools, teacher assistance, educational community services, involvement of lab/partner schools during the process up to the profiles of LPTK teacher graduate candidates.

This draft is planned to be carried out in a limited trial involving study program associations and the LPTK association at the end of November 2020. Full trials shall be conducted in early 2021 and are planned to come into full force on 2 May 2021. This implementation refers to the Regulation of BAN-PT Number 9 of 2020 concerning the Policy on the Migration of Study Program Accreditation from BAN-PT to LAMDIK.

It is expected that LAMDIK shall be able to improve the quality of governance and development of LPTK study programs in the era of global computing-communication and the era of educational disruption, both at the national and international levels. Regards @LAMDIK. @LAMDik.
